This Sunday two of the most storied franchises in the NFL will be facing off for the Vince Lombardi Trophy. The Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers have played in quite a few Super Bowls in the past, but this one is set to be as big, if not bigger, than all of those previous wins.
We all know that the Packers claimed the first and second Super Bowl titles respectively, and by doing so had the championship trophy named after it's resilient head coach, Vince Lombardi. We also remember watching Brett Favre run and jump across the field like a 3rd grade child that just won a game of kickball, after defeating the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XXXI.
But they have never beaten an organization as large and proud as the Pittsburgh Steelers. This Sunday will mark the Steelers 8th Super Bowl appearance. They've already won six championships, more than any other franchise in the NFL. The Steelers seem to have a proven system that works year in and year out, regardless who the coach is. The biggest attribute the Steelers have is the front office. They always excel in the NFL draft every April, finding the kind of talent that works best for their system and plug those players in. They don't get worked up in the hype like most teams do. The old cliche is "you have to take the best player on the board." No, you don't! If that player isn't going to fit in well with your system, you don't take them, plain and simple.
With that being said, I absolutely hate the Steelers. So there is no doubt that I will be cheering for the Green Bay Packers this Super Bowl Sunday. But when it comes down to it, we have arguably the top two defenses in the league and two very good quarterbacks with efficient receiving corps. Both teams have difference makers on defense, with Clay Matthews and Troy Polamolu, with the Steelers getting a slight advantage with their superstar. My heart is going to be with Green Bay this weekend, but if I were a betting man, my money would probably be on the Steelers.

Well written. There is a reason I am drinking a pepsi right now, loved the commercial! Would have to agree that the bridgestone commercial was a good one, and it was an early one and set a high bar. My favorite was the doritos one where the grandpa came back to life, thanks for including it in your blog.
